Please speak to your program owner or administrator to register for a BCSC & Cheer Canada Membership. 

If you are a program administrator and would like to get listed as an affiliated program; email info@bcsportcheer.ca with your program and contact name.

Membership Information

• BCSC's fiscal year is October 1st to September 30th
• Membership year is July 1 - June 30.
• Membership fees are set yearly at the Annual General Meeting and will be paid and renewed annually.
• Membership is open to all schools, club teams, companies/commercial enterprises with a vested interest in cheerleading and certified judges.

Note: Memberships below are the BC Sport Cheer memberships fees. Programs will typically bill these together as Provincial and National membership fees.

Competitive Athlete Membership

Cost: $15 plus registration costs

• Registration of all athletes on the BCSC database
• Registration of all athletes on the Cheer Canada database
• Eligibility for all BCSC scholarships
• Eligibility for KidSport Funding
• Eligibility for BCSC Insurance Programs
• Eligibility for athletes to use their time in programs towards high school credits
• All fees go toward paying for communal goods that benefit all members (Sanctioned events, iPads that local EP’s rent for quality scoring processes, developing coach credentialing programs locally until Cheer Canada mandates a program)

Recreational Athlete Membership

Cost: $5 plus registration costs

• Registration of all athletes on the BCSC database
• Registration of all athletes on the Cheer Canada database
• Eligibility for all BCSC scholarships
• Eligibility for KidSport funding
• Eligibility for BCSC Insurance Programs
• Eligibility for athletes to use their time in programs towards high school credits
• All Fees go toward paying for communal goods that benefit all members
