JUDGES Training
Cheer Canada & BCSC Judges training - October 3, 2026
Registration CLOSED
This one day course will cover the following topics:
- Introduction to Scoring
- Professionalism
- Building
- Tumbling
- Overall
- Deductions
- Scholastic
To take this course, you must be 18+, have athlete or coach experience in cheerleading, and plan to write the Cheer Canada Judges exams in the next few months.
There will be a $20 charge for this course for BC residents, as it is subsidized by BC Sport Cheer. Non-BC residents will be charged $50.
We are offering an in-person or Zoom option. We ask that you attend in person if you are able.
Location: TBD, but will be in Metro-Vancouver area
Date: Saturday, October 3rd
Time: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm (there will be a lunch break)
This full day session can be used to fulfill your training requirements to become a certified official in Canada and prepare for your Cheer Canada Judges exam.
This is for new and returning judges, as there are significant scoring changes this season.
If you are a returning judge and unable to attend virtually or in person on October 3rd, please send an email to info@bcsportcheer.ca and we will arrange an alternative method of training for you. New judges must attend the virtual or in-person session.
