COMMITTEES

BC Sport Cheer has three committees that are seeking representation from volunteers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, a resident of Canada, and a member of BCSC or willing to register for a membership.

All committee appointments are for a one year term.

BCSC is doing a second call-out to expand the diversity on the committees (a multitude of programs and roles within the cheer community). We had some excellent applications, however we would love to see participation from coaches, owners, and athletes from a variety of schools and programs across the province.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Committee is established to ensure that Sport Cheer in BC is inclusive and accessible for all.

Provincials

The Provincial Championships (Provincials) Committee is established to support the activities and planning of the BC Sport Cheer Provincial Championships, held annually in the beginning of March.

Scholastic

The Scholastic Committee is established to support and advance the development, participation, and governance of scholastic cheerleading programs in British Columbia
