TEAM BC

BC Sport Cheer introduced the inaugural Team BC.  Made up of athletes across the province, Team BC members trained at their home gyms and together at multiple training camps throughout BC.

Locally, Team BC performed at both BC Provincials and at Sea to Sky Championships in Vancouver, and were chosen to represent Canada at the Youth and Junior World Championships in Florida and brought home a Silver medal. 

We expanded the program to include Junior Advanced and Youth Median Divisions. Locally, the teams competed at BC Provincials and Sea to Sky Championships. Youth Team BC was chosen to represent Canada at the Youth and Junior World Championships in Florida as Team Canada and earned a Gold medal in the Youth All-Girl Median Division. 

Team BC competed in the Youth Median All Girl Division. They were was selected to represent Team Canada at the 2024 Pan-Am Games in Ottawa, Ontario, where they earned Gold medals at both the Pan-Am Cheerleading Championships and the Canadian Cheerleading Championships. The team also performed locally at Pink Cheerleading Championships in December and at Provincial Championships in March, where they were also recognized for their achievements by the BC Sport Cheer Board of Directors. 

Both Team BC Youth All Girl Median and Team BC Junior CoEd Advanced have been selected to represent Team Canada at the 2026n Pan-American Cheerleading Championships in Mexico City. Locally the teams have competed at the Canadian Cheerleading Championships, Pink Cheerleading Championships, and will be performing at the 2026 Provincial Championships.
