With over eight years of experience in the cheerleading world, Clara brings a comprehensive understanding of the sport from multiple perspectives. Her involvement spans roles as an athlete and as the Executive Director for BCSC, where she has gained valuable insights into the operational and strategic aspects of the organization.
Dawn has been part of the cheer community in BC since 1986. Dawn has been a cheerleader and coached for the VMFL, local High Schools, and SFU back when they first started in the late 90's. Dawn is one of the owners of Cheer Sport Sharks Vancouver and Pinnacle Cheer Events. Dawn believes that being connected as a gym owner, EP and now the IASF, provides various viewpoints that could help the executive. Dawn also has an accounting background and a love for spreadsheets and being organized. Dawn is committed to ensuring all of the athletes are represented and that the path BCSC has set forth continues to be best for all of BC's athletes.
Amanda brings a unique blend of administrative expertise & passion for cheerleading to her role as an at-large board member of BC Sport Cheer. She has experience as a scholastic, collegiate, and all-star athlete, and has been coaching cheerleading for the last 10 years. She is passionate about inclusivity & ensuring accessibility in sport

Kennedy has cheered in both Alberta and BC and is passionate about ensuring that school cheer programs continue to have a strong voice at the provincial level.
She has served on the Cheer Canada Athlete’s and Translation Committee, where she advocates for athletes nationally and support inclusive communication.

Kennedy's experience as an athlete has transitioned into a new pursuit of becoming a cheerleading judge, while working full time as a Registered Nurse.
Melanie is deeply passionate about the growth and development of cheerleading across BC, and grew up doing competitive gymnastics and high school cheer in the Okanagan, then transitioning to collegiate cheer on UVic Vikes Cheer as an athlete, and is now the Coach and Program Director of UBC Cheerleading.

Sofie was first introduced to cheerleading after getting involved with her school team in high school. Then she made her way into the allstar cheerleading world shortly after through Gems Athletics. Through coaching at Maple Ridge Cheerleading and at Gems Athletics, she has been able to see and understand both the scholastic and allstar sides of the sport. As a high school teacher, Sofie is active in her school community. Outside of cheerleading, Sofie is passionate about promoting equity in schools and uplifting diverse voices. She is the co-lead of the Anti-Racism and Equity committee at her school, and a member of the MRTA Social Justice committee in her district. She also co-created her schools Black Student Voice affinity group, and is the teacher lead the LGBTQ2S+ pride group as well.
